Technical Description.
Schneider Electric’s Altistart 320 ATV320U55N4B soft starter is capable of powering 3-phase asynchronous motors in the grid connection with a rated current of 5 amps, a rated power of 5.7 to 5 kilowatts and a rated voltage of 380 to 500 Vac.
This variable speed / frequency drive (VSD / VFD) is designed for simple industrial and commercial machines, such as packaging, material handling machinery, mechanical actuators and lifting devices.
Its Book form factor allows for a smaller machine footprint, particularly when mounted in a control cabinet next to other control devices such as PLCs, I/O units.
Advanced connectivity, including CANopen and Modbus, enables deep integration into automation architectures without the use of additional network equipment.
